Seeking inspiration from their childhood memories of traveling in the famous N126 trailer attached to the Fiat 126p, smallna reinterpreted its shape using steel pipes. The Risky Trailer pays homage to the original design while incorporating a futuristic touch, resulting in a fantastic vision brought to life with precision and craftsmanship.
The Risky Trailer stands out with its extendable frame and ability to transform into a huge rack for displaying Risk Made In Warsaw's fashion collection. Its transparent frame, made from gently bent and welded steel pipes, features ten movable parts that serve various functions, including a display window, desk, fitting room, mirror, and a roof with a graphic/logo "board" of risky girls.
This mobile pop-up shop is not only a functional space for selling fashion but also a work of art. It incorporates elements from the 70s to the 90s, such as back lights, utensil boxes, and old-school wheels, giving it a sentimental touch. Additionally, the Risky Trailer features industrial steampunk elements, including old neon glass tubes and a ball lamp, adding a unique and visually striking aesthetic.
The Risky Trailer is designed to be easily attached to any car with a tow hook, making it independent and ready to travel to any location for events, exhibitions, or fashion shows. During the night, it transforms into a beautiful light installation called the "Ghost of Niewiadow," named after the city where the original trailer was manufactured in 1974. During the day, it serves as a captivating city sculpture, impossible to miss.
Since its launch in July 2013 at the Heineken Open'er Festival in Gdynia, Poland, the Risky Trailer has traveled to various fairs, fashion weeks, and events. It has become a symbol of Risk Made In Warsaw's innovative and daring approach to fashion, attracting the attention of hundreds of people on the streets and in cars and buses as it travels across Poland and Europe.
The Risky Trailer is the result of extensive research and creative problem-solving. The designers at smallna wanted to create a mobile store that would allow Risk Made In Warsaw to sell their fashion anywhere while maintaining a sense of sentimentality and futuristic aesthetics. The trailer's unique design, ease of assembly, and mobility make it a versatile and eye-catching solution.
In recognition of its outstanding design and creative ingenuity, the Risky Trailer was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Street and City Furniture Design category in 2014. This prestigious award honors designs that incorporate best practices in art, science, design, and technology, contributing to improvements in quality of life and making the world a better place.
